The Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library can provide limited reproduction, reference and research services to patrons.

Reproduction Services

Depending on the condition of the item, researchers may request one of our staff to reproduce up to 50 images (a double spread book opening will count as one image) every 2 weeks, or a total of 100 pages monthly, by accessing this link:

Scanning Reference Assistance

The reproduction of archival and published materials is subject to the stipulations of Canadian copyright laws.

Copies will be sent via email using Dropbox or another file sharing program. The fulfillment of orders will depend on the number of requests received, but we will try to complete orders within two weeks of submission.

Those wishing to have digital images taken from modern archival collections must first consult with the Director, Loryl MacDonald at loryl.macdonald@utoronto.ca.

Any additional questions about our reproduction services should also be addressed to the Director.
