The Fisher Library's collection is non-circulating and loans are not normally possible. Original material is not loaned but Interlibrary loan requests can be filled if the Fisher Library already has a microfilm copy of the item in question. It is sometimes also possible to fulfill requests through digitization. Interlibrary loan requests should be placed through a researcher's own institution's ILL office.
Loans for Exhibition
Loans for purposes of exhibition can usually be accommodated if the requesting institution meets security and environmental standards and makes the request at least three months in advance. Requests for exhibition loans should be addressed to the Chair of the Exhibitions Committee.
