Pop-up Book Exhibition Featured on CBC Radio

Joan Links, the curator of the Fisher's current exhibition The Immersive Movable Object: Contemporary Pop-up Books, appeared on CBC Toronto's Metro Morning, Wednesday February 28. She discussed with the host David Commons the history of pop-up books, going back to the use of volvelle's in the 17th century, to their current popularity today - emphasizing that these are not books necessarily intended for children.

The entire interview can be found on the Metro Morning web site.

Joan will be conducting an hour-long tour of the exhibition on Thursday April 18 at 1pm. Please join us!
