Our donors have always played such an essential role here at the Fisher. Their passions for the book and for book collecting have enabled us to build one of the great libraries in the world. To that end, we devote the current issue of the Friends of Fisher newsletter, The Halcyon, to the voices of some of these remarkable bibliophiles. This issue features the voices of Peter Blayney, Adam Crabtree, Garrett Herman, Marie Korey, Andrew Patenall, Barbara Tangney and F. Michael Walsh as they tell us their stories about what ignited their passion for books, why they chose their subject interests, and what their collecting habits look like.
