The latest issue of The Halcyon, the newsletter of the Friends of the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library, is now available in both print and as a PDF download.
This issue marks the fortieth anniversary of the Friends of Fisher, and features articles primarily focused on donations past and present. It looks at the early correspondence from two-time Academy Award-winning animator Richard Williams (famed for his work on Who Framed Roger Rabbit), contained in the Martin Hunter Papers, along with articles about the Robert S. Kenny collection, a gift of ephemera focusing on the women's liberation movement, and the story behind an unrecognized contribution of Arctic material from J. Tuzo Wilson.
The next issue of The Halcyon will be published in June 2025.
