Black History Month Open House - February 20

To celebrate Black History Month in February, the Fisher will be holding an open house that will feature a number of materials from our collection. We will draw from the many varied areas of our collections, from books to ephemera to newspapers to our manuscript holdings. Highlights include sketches from Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott, 19th century books about the Underground Railroad, Canadian-specific Black newspapers, and even a high school book report on The Autobiography of Malcolm X by Lawrence Hill.

The open house begins at 3:00 pm and runs until 6:00 pm. Please come and visit.
