Collection of manuscripts, books owned by, artworks, and other materials related to British General James Wolfe (1727-1759), best known for his role as commander of the British expedition that took Quebec in 1759. Manuscripts include letters by Wolfe to his parents and the military commissions of Wolfe and his father Edward Wolfe (1685-1759). Consists of books, broadsides, manuscripts, maps, and pamphlets.
